Osmany Laffita Spring/Summer 2027

Where couture meets performance. A collection driven by passion, precision and emotion.

 

On September 25, 2026, PVA EXPO PRAGUE became the stage for the biggest fashion show of Osmany Laffita’s career to date. After almost a year of preparation, the renowned designer unveiled 147 original couture looks for women and men, brought to life by 115 models on a spectacular 60-metre runway.

 

 

At the heart of the new Spring/Summer 2027 collection lies a powerful combination of craftsmanship, precision and the courage to push creative boundaries. Laffita brings together the worlds of couture, emotion, music and automotive design, creating a collection where fashion meets speed, power and performance.

 

A key part of the evening was the Brno-based company Import Car Group, whose collection of supercars and exceptional historic automobiles became both part of the show’s visual identity and a direct source of inspiration for the collection. Among the automotive highlights on the runway were the legendary Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV, the unique 1939 Alfa Romeo Castagna and the iconic Ferrari 275 GTB/4, valued at approximately EUR 3.4 million.

 

Adding another layer of energy to the show, world-renowned DJ Paul van Dyk performed live and created an exclusive music concept especially for the occasion.

 

The art of couture

 

The collection plays with the contrast between strength and delicacy. Laffita combines organza, tulle, chiffon, satin and leather with hand-embroidered lace, pearls, feathers, gemstones and sequins. Every detail reflects the essence of couture craftsmanship. Stones and appliqués are individually sewn by hand, while some of the pieces are created almost entirely by hand, making each design truly unique.

 

The influence of the automotive world can be seen directly in the construction of selected pieces. Corsets draw on the distinctive lines, proportions and character of the cars that inspired them and that appeared alongside the models on the runway. Some designs even incorporate lighting elements reminiscent of automotive headlights.

 

The collection also features leather “human corsets”, hand-painted and carefully shaded to create the illusion of the naked human body. These striking pieces play provocatively with the boundary between the human form and fashion.

 

 

Inspired by speed

 

The automotive theme extends into the collection’s colour palette. Ferrari red takes centre stage alongside black, deep burgundy and white, complemented by metallic tones and the silver reflections of liquid organza. Shades of blue, pink and green add further depth and contrast.

 

The accessories continue the same aesthetic. Unique cylindrical leather handbags feature chains, metallic accents and gold details, available in several colour variations.

 

The models’ beauty looks carry the same sense of power and precision. Dramatic black eyes and bold red lips in the Rouge Drama Matte shade are paired with metallic masks inspired by the reflective surface of a car body. Hair is slicked back into a striking wet look, creating a clean, sharp and aerodynamic silhouette.

 

Every element of the beauty styling reinforces the central theme of the show – strength, technical precision, shine and movement.

 

Fashion with a purpose

 

Following the show, a 1988 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL Cabrio from the Import Car Group collection was auctioned under the supervision of a notary. All proceeds will be donated to the Kapka naděje Foundation to support the purchase of specialised equipment for liver transplantation at Prague’s Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine (IKEM).

 

 

Power. Force. Motion.

 

The words “Power. Force. Motion.” from Paul van Dyk’s soundtrack perfectly capture the woman at the heart of Osmany Laffita’s vision for 2027.

 

She may be delicate, but she is never fragile. She is confident, courageous, determined and powerful. Her walk is fast, precise and dynamic – echoing the energy and performance of the supercars sharing the runway.

 

Nothing in the show is accidental.

 

Couture speaks to the automobile. The metallic mask reflects its surface. Colour becomes energy. The walk becomes speed. Music becomes movement.

 

With his Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Osmany Laffita demonstrates that true perfection is never achieved by chance. It is the result of months of dedication, patience, craftsmanship and an uncompromising attention to detail – right down to the very last millimetre.
