International construction trade fair FOR ARCH has begun

Today, Wednesday 16 September, the international construction trade fair FOR ARCH opened at PVA EXPO PRAHA. Its 37th edition brings together architecture, construction, building services and new technologies, with an emphasis on energy-efficient, smart and sustainable buildings.

Eight thematic platforms

Visitors can look forward to the latest products and trends across eight areas: construction and structural elements; interiors; timber buildings, modular construction and tiny houses; smart home and electrical systems; building safety; heating and renewable energy sources; pools and wellness; and development and digitalisation. Hundreds of exhibits will showcase renowned Czech and international brands.

A programme for professionals and the public alike

The four-day accompanying programme offers talks, workshops and conferences. The very first day features the FÓRUM STAVEBNICTVÍ conference, along with the premiere of REALITNÍ EXPO and the international B2B platform Construction Connect Prague 2026. Topics on offer include fire safety of buildings, photovoltaics, timber construction, heating and the Nová zelená úsporám 2026 subsidy programme.

Inspiration and real craftsmanship

Throughout the fair, the CZECH INTERIOR AWARD 2026 showcase offers plenty of interior design inspiration. A new highlight is the interactive Future Builders construction site in Hall 8, where visitors, including primary school pupils, can try out selected building trades and modern technologies.

Not to be missed

A range of novelties will be on display, from HELUZ's meaningful homes and AI-powered smart home security to automatic pellet boilers, 3D steam fireplaces, bricklaying robots and photovoltaics. At the Gorila Machinery stand in Hall 2, you can even win your own mini excavator.
