OSH Conngress XII

The main programme of the conference will focus primarily on current legislative developments in occupational safety and health in the Czech Republic and on the obligations that the current legislation imposes on competent persons in risk prevention. This year, the two-day format expands into several parallel programme tracks, allowing some areas to be covered in greater depth and additional topics to be included.  Whatever you can't catch on site, you'll be able to watch later from the recording – or bring a colleague. The two days will be linked by an informal social evening.

MAIN HALL

Legislation, its development and impact on workplace practice. Updates from the ministries (Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and Ministry of Health), recent changes as well as those still to come

MANAGEMENT & SOFT SKILLS

An exchange of experience, above all on how to put OSH knowledge into practice in real workplaces and how to work with people when it comes to occupational safety. 

PSYCHOSOCIAL RISKS
Mental workload factors and psychosocial risks: how to recognise them and, above all, which effective systemic measures to adopt. A session with a workshop component, prepared in cooperation with the National Institute of Public Health (SZÚ).

MAIN HALL

Continuation of the main plenary session. In the morning, a session on working with people and leading them to comply with OSH rules. Then selected aspects of fire protection. A look back at five years under the new regulation of the safety of designated technical equipment (VTZ), and the safety of steel structures.

ERGONOMICS

Basic principles of ergonomic workplace design, plus interesting case studies. Prepared in cooperation with the Czech Ergonomics Society.
