BIDFOOD EXPO 2026

From 13 to 15 October 2026, the PVA EXPO Prague Letňany exhibition centre will host the 16th edition of Bidfood Expo, a major professional trade fair dedicated to the gastronomy and food service industry. This important industry event is primarily aimed at professionals from the gastronomy, hospitality, restaurant and retail sectors, as well as other fields related to the food industry and catering services.

Visitors can look forward to almost 10,000 m² of exhibition space, hundreds of exhibitors and a wide range of products and services. Representatives of Bidfood, leading manufacturers and suppliers from the Czech Republic and abroad will be presenting their latest products and solutions. The trade fair will offer an opportunity to discover new products, explore the latest trends and gain inspiration for the day-to-day operation of professional catering establishments.

However, Bidfood Expo is much more than a traditional trade fair. The programme will also feature live cooking shows, practical demonstrations and tastings, giving visitors the opportunity to discover new ingredients, technologies and modern techniques used in professional gastronomy. Renowned Czech and international chefs will share their experience and expertise and demonstrate their culinary skills live in front of the audience.

Another major attraction will be the prestigious culinary competitions, organised in cooperation with the Association of Chefs and Confectioners of the Czech Republic. Visitors will be able to watch professionals and young talents compete and witness first-hand the creativity, precision and high standards of contemporary gastronomy. The competitions will include Chef of the Year 2026/2027, the Gastro Junior Bidfood Cup and School Canteen of the Year 2026, among others.

A new highlight of this year's event will be Czech Butcher Wars 2026, an exciting competition showcasing the craft of professional butchers in all its forms. Visitors will have the opportunity to watch skilled professionals demonstrate their expertise, experience and precision in meat processing.

Bidfood Expo is also a place for professional networking, sharing experience and establishing new business contacts. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet and talk to industry experts, discover new suppliers and gain valuable inspiration that can bring fresh ideas and new opportunities to their businesses.
