Czech Darts Open 2025: Prague once again hosts the world's top darts players

03. September 2025

At the beginning of September, Prague will become the capital of darts. The prestigious Czech Darts Open 2025 tournament, part of the PDC European Tour series, is returning to PVA EXPO in Letňany. From September 5 to 7, Hall 6 will host 48 of the world's best players, and visitors can look forward to three days packed with sporting excitement, an electrifying atmosphere, and a spectacular show that ranks among the absolute best in the world.

This year's tournament is the eleventh event in the European Darts Tour and will bring all the biggest stars of the current darts world to Prague. Last year's winner Luke Humphries will be there to defend his title, as will the phenomenon of recent months, 18-year-old Luke Littler, who has won four titles out of five European Tour tournaments so far this season. Legends such as Michael van Gerwen, former world champion Peter Wright, experienced James Wade, and charismatic Gerwyn Price will also appear on the Czech stage. For fans, this is a unique opportunity to see world stars live, whom they otherwise mainly watch on television.

A prize pool of £175,000 awaits the players, with £30,000 going to the winner. Each match will be highly charged, and spectators can look forward to top performances and moments that will decide the fate of the entire tournament. Over the course of three days, matches will be played in afternoon and evening blocks, and the atmosphere at PVA EXPO will once again resemble the legendary darts arenas in Great Britain, where the sport has millions of fans.

The Czech Darts Open 2025 promises an unforgettable experience that combines professional sport, a world-class show, and the atmosphere typical of PDC tournaments. If you are looking for something to do on the first weekend of September, a visit to Letňany should definitely be on your list.
